Angling
Deepsea
A deepsea angling club, with
members from many areas in Belfast and surrounding counties, has been operating
in Ardglass for many years.
Fishing expeditions and competitions are organised throughout the year.
Contact points will be posted just as soon as they can be ascertained.
Local fishing boats and small inshore craft may be hired by individuals and

Soccer & Gaelic Football
Ardglass FA has a flourishing team, competing in a local amateur league. There are weekly indoor and outdoor practice sessions. Chairman: Barry McEvoy
Ardglass GAA
is also a flourishing organisation, with football teams for
men and women competing weekly. A magnificent new Clubhouse was officially opened on Sunday
11th May 2003 at the Club's grounds, Ardtole.

Sailing & Small Craft
A dozen or two
yachts and small powered craft are permanently stationed at the Marina and in
the North Dock. You can get details of charges and facilities directly
from the Marina or from the Harbour
Master.

The Vikings
Society
Great fun for dedicated locals who
have to date built two viking
replica ships and regularly hold races with Isle of Man counterparts, as well as
appearing at charitable functions throughout County Down and the Isle of
