Ardglass Castle, once the home of the Fitzgeralds,
Earls of Kildare, is the clubhouse of the Ardglass Golf Club - a great
place to have a fine a la carte meal or bar snack and a drink - but the course
itself is the thing to be savoured and sampled.
A real seaside links, more than
100 years in the making since the founders bought the property in 1896, the
course stretches along the rocky coast along the Irish Sea, with magnificent views and
a series of holes challenging all categories of golfer. A real
pleasure to play.
